David Humeniuk and Tina Hill-Art, both practising therapists and registered members of the BACP .

We established Studio one therapy hub business after many years experience of supporting clients therapeutically and renting therapy / training rooms, so brought a depth of understanding of what both clients and our fellow professionals need from such a space,

STUDIO one has evolved  over the years into a therapy and well-being hub which mirrors a 'best practice' ethos: whilst retaining a relaxed and informal atmosphere, operates within the highest of professional body's ethical frameworks.

All professionals working from STUDIO one are required, where relevant, to evidence their qualifications, professional body membership and liability insurance before practising here, thereby offering clients access to quality therapists who voluntarily offer accountability in these currently unregulated professions.

We offer a  professionally presented but comfortably relaxed space, and those working here benefit from flexible, well-maintained, well-equipped rooms, with easy diary access, and a level of autonomy.

This is thought by many to be one of the most attractive tree-lined streets in England. Bordered with fine Georgian townhouses, It was known as Southernhay as far back as 1265. It follows the line of the great town ditch, just outside the city wall that was known as Crulditch. This comes from the word, crull, meaning 'curly', as the ditch followed the curve of the city wall.  Southernhay itself, means the 'southern enclosure'.

STUDIOone is located on the third floor of No 23, which is a grade 2 listed building.   Whilst we have decorated to a more modern taste, the space still retains a sense of its heritage and character.
